This is a hand crocheted
blanket laid on a king size bed and 1.75m square. They are made in
individual 'patches' and crocheted together. I make them in this
way because this doesn't unravel as easily as sewing them
together. This method also makes the blanket keep its' shape
better. I have crocheted a border around to finish it off. These
blankets are made in a random mixture of colours in pure wool and
acrylic mixtures. The first one I made is still in use and it's 35
years old! |
